Eurodim operates in every field of activity where mobile structures and large mechanical systems play a role and are a major component, such as port equipment, hydromechanics for waterways, movable bridges, hydroelectric dams and installations, offshore oil and gas structures and equipment, fluid transfer (including cryogenic) systems, scenic engineering, nuclear equipment, sports stadia with mobile roofs, etc. (all activities that employ mechanical systems which are either central to their operation or for special applications with a specific design).
Company history
Eurodim is the story of a team of engineers with a real passion for their work that started in the 1960s at a company called E.M.H., with the creation of mobile equipment for the EDF hydroelectric dams programme in parallel with the waterways navigation programmes set up by the public authorities of the time, to be followed by international offshore oil industry with the creation of a world standard for offshore loading platforms for crude oil tankers in heavy seas.
The mechanical architecture and design of mobile structures:
this was to be the activity of Eurodim from its creation in 1988.
From the very beginning Eurodim, an independent company, mobilised its forces around a single objective: offering the best solutions by associating purity of design with innovative technological choices, while rigorously guaranteeing reliability, durability and genuine cost-effectiveness.
This remains, today more than ever, the ambition of the entire team.
